In 1946, Avery O. Thompson and his brother started Thompson Transfer, a trucking company that provided hauling services for 21 years in the Chamberlain area. They sold out of the trucking business in 1967 and began construction for a repair business that would provide parts and service for truckers and others in need.
24-Hour Towing and Wrecker Service
We provided light wrecker services until 1971, when a larger wrecker was put on the road for 24-hour towing and wrecker service.
